Cancellation, refund and withdrawal policy

This policy applies to writex.ai subscriptions and credit top-ups sold by WRITEX. It does not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Subscription cancellation

You may cancel at any time through your billing settings or by emailing customer@writex.ai from your account email. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless we state otherwise or the law requires an earlier end, your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Cancel before the renewal date shown in your account to avoid the next charge. Cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period.

Refunds

Subscription fees and purchased credits are generally non-refundable once the relevant period or digital service has started, except where required by law or where writex.ai confirms a duplicate charge, incorrect charge or material failure to provide the purchased service.

Campaign credits are reserved when you approve and send. Credits for responses that permanently fail are returned to your wallet after settlement. Responses confirmed as delivered are charged even if a social platform later hides or removes them.

EU and EEA right of withdrawal

If you are an EU or EEA consumer, you may generally withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The period begins when the contract is concluded.

If you ask us to start a subscription service during the 14-day period and then withdraw before the period ends, we may charge a proportionate amount for service already provided where the law permits. For digital content or credits supplied immediately, your statutory withdrawal right may end once performance begins if you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged that consequence during checkout.

If those legal requirements were not met, your statutory rights remain unaffected. Local mandatory consumer rights may provide additional protection.

How to request cancellation, withdrawal or a refund

Email customer@writex.ai with your name, account email, order or payment reference, purchase date and a clear statement of what you request. For withdrawal, you may write: “I hereby withdraw from my contract for [plan or purchase], ordered on [date].” We may ask for reasonable information to verify the account.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment method and financial institution. We will normally initiate an approved refund within 14 days after confirming eligibility.

Account closure

Closing an account does not by itself cancel an active subscription unless cancellation is completed or confirmed by support. Before closing your account, cancel the subscription and use or resolve any remaining purchased credits. Mandatory retention of financial records continues after closure.
